As a manufacturer and marketer of dairy ingredients specializing in dairy proteins, it is Protient's mission to provide products and services that uniquely meet our customer's specific needs. We will do this by holding our selves to the highest standards of integrity and ethics, with personal commitments to producing safe products within a safe workplace, by showing respect for our fellow employees, as well as for our customers and suppliers and by being a good steward of our environment.
From milk and whey, Protient produces protein concentrates, isolate and hydrolysate for the food, beverage, confectionary and specialty nutrition markets. We also produce lactose for food and feed applications. And finally, we provide custom formulation and consumer private label packaging services for powdered sport and nutritional beverages. We serve customers all over the world from our plants in Juda, WI and Springfield, MO.
Product development and applications work is currently centered within our St. Paul, MN headquarters. We plan to take occupancy of our new R&D and Sensory Laboratory located in Eagan, MN by fall 2008. Pilot and scale-up work will continue to be done at the pilot facility in Boyceville, WI. As a part of Associated British Foods and the ABF Ingredients group, we have the technical resources of one of the world's largest food companies behind us.
