Health and Safety
Health and safety has become a fundamental aspect in our day-to-day business activities. Protient provides a safe and healthy working environment in line with local regulations to protect employees, visitors and the public from any foreseeable work hazards. To support the monitoring of our health and safety performance, internal work safety audits and inspections take place continuously. In order to ensure a high level of safety awareness Protient also provides regular trainings to the Protient employees. We also encourage all our contractors to be SCC (Safety Contractor Certificate) certified in order to work with us.
Environment
The protection and responsible handling of our environment are essential elements of our daily activities. Compliance with current legislations and outperforming in energy conservation are our declared targets.
Based on continuous improvements of our process, regular internal and external assessments and quantifying environmental impacts of our operations, we work on minimizing the discharges of our plants. Typically we thrive to
- minimize air emissions, effluent and waste disposal;
- efficient usage of energy;
- investing in substantial energy conservation and reduction programs;
- minimize the impact of incidents with effective emergency response procedures.
The environmental performance of our business is constantly being reviewed by the managing board. To support the continuous improvement process of work safety and environment we have a worker’s proposal and rewarding system in place with special focus on safety, health and environment.
